Sunday late afternoon I took the kids to the park. We were getting into the car to leave the park and I was buckling Emma in the car. Which is not so easy a task because she hunches herself down into the seat and you have to straighten her up to get the seat belt fastened. Anyway, I was having difficulty. Here is the conversation that ensued.

Me: Everyone makes mistakes. Even mommy.

David: Yes. Well…not Grand-mama and G-pa.

I remember thinking my grandparents were perfect too! It was so sweet and funny! 🙂

David’s class is learning the pledge of allegiance at school. Tonight when I asked him about it he started to quote it for me. He did pretty good, but we still have some work to do! It didn’t help that he was running around the room while saying it.
