Silly me. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017

This morning at church I had my music all ready and my kindle set up ready to record. I was sitting there waiting for the signal to begin the prelude. I received the signal and began to play. About three measures into the piece I realized I forgot to push the record button on my tablet. Oops! I probably missed a few notes because of my distraction…silly me! Anyway, I played it again at home and recorded it. The sound may be a little different because of different pianos. (Sorry for the loud page turns) I hope you enjoy listening! (You can find the recording on my Worship music archives page.)

David is not feeling too well today. We noticed he was running a little temperature, plus he just wasn’t his usual active self. Poor sweet boy. Hopefully it will pass quickly. We will see how he feels in the morning. Emma has had a runny nose lately, but she is also cutting another tooth. I chalked hers up to teething. Maybe not totally.

Sweet Emma in her beautiful church dress! (Thanks Grand-Mama!)

Angel!

We ALL took a nap today! We were tired and exhausted from the week. I love Sunday afternoon nap time!

I didn’t fix the broccoli cheddar soup I had planned for this evening. We bought some fresh cod yesterday so I wanted to cook it while it was still fresh. I love fish and chips. So I made a beer battered cod and french fries. (I don’t drink alcoholic beverages. I don’t like the taste or the smell.) If you are like me you will want to hold your nose while making this recipe, but the taste is totally worth it!! The recipe I used called for a bottle of beer, a cup and a half of flour, a mixture of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. It really is very good, trust me, you have to try it!

Here is this weeks menu!
