I must first apologize and thank you for your patience and understanding. I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed, and blogging has been difficult to keep up with the last couple weeks. Since I started this blog journey I have truly enjoyed it! Thank you to everyone who follows and keeps up via social media. I want to keep blogging, and I just ask for a little patience with me during this time. Hopefully once we get moved next month things will settle down a bit.
Andrew made out the menu for this week. (Thank you dear!) On Monday I grilled up a chicken breast and then shredded it up and made chicken and cheese quesadillas. I LOVE quesadillas!! Monday evening we went to Texas Road House for dinner. The youth of the church had a fundraiser, and so we went to support them. Yesterday for lunch Emma and I ate leftover chicken enchilada soup, and for dinner Andrew cooked polish sausage, navy beans, and salad. Today Emma and I had grilled cheese sandwiches and chips, and I already have a roast in the oven with some carrots for dinner. Here is the rest of the week.
Thursday: Lunch, roast beef sandwiches. Dinner, Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli.
Friday: Lunch, Cheeseburgers and chips. Dinner, pork chops, potato cakes, spinach salad.
Saturday: Lunch, (OUT) Dinner, Spaghetti and salad.
Sunday: Lunch, Subway sandwiches, Dinner, Tacos.
My brother in law, Brandon, is graduating from UNT with his master of music degree this weekend! I am going to be attending his graduation, and spending time with my family! Andrew will be on full time parent duty this weekend. (Say a little prayer.) We decided the kids were too little to attend a concert and graduation…. I will also get to celebrate mother’s day with my mom! We are planning on having an early breakfast together on Sunday before we all part ways. I will miss church, but should be home in time to celebrate mother’s day with my own kiddos! Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful moms out there! Here is a facebook video I shared a while back. It talks about never doubting whether or not you are a good mom. I enjoyed it, and I hope you will too! Joyce Meyer
I took some cute pictures of Emma on Sunday. She goes with me early to church on Sunday’s so I can get everything set up and ready. She typically just plays around the front of the sanctuary while I’m practicing. Here is what she was doing Sunday.
Isn’t that precious! She is looking through a pew Bible.
Sunday evening we were playing outside, and Emma was chasing Zoe around the yard. She thought it was so funny!
Priceless! 🙂
It has suddenly turned summer here. It is almost ninety degrees today. This morning I filled the sand box up with water, and let Emma play in it. (There is no point in buying sand for the sand box until after we move!) She had a blast and played for almost an hour.
*In my last blog I made a list of necessary items for moving. I forgot to put trash bags and ziploc bags on the list. It came to me this morning…
