Our house is starting to look like this!

Andrew packed up our china ware yesterday. He is very good at this! 🙂 What we do is neatly wrap each item in bubble wrap and carefully place them in large tubs. You can buy bubble wrap in bulk at Sam’s club! Bins are starting to stack up in corners around the house, and our garage is full of yard sale stuff. All of our closets are cleaned out and items that we don’t use regularly are packed away.

When Andrew and I were first married and we were packing to move to Boston, another pastors wife showed me this trick for packing hanging clothes. I have used it ever since! It makes carrying them so much easier, and you don’t have to worry about the hangers sliding everywhere. Plus it keeps your clothes cleaner. We usually try to fit all our clothes in one of our cars instead of putting them on the moving truck anyway. 20180523_100124_HDR

Today my goal is to pack up the items on the book shelves in the living room, and start wrapping up pictures. The biggest task we will have when we return from London is packing the kitchen, and the kids bedrooms.  This is something I always leave until the day or two before we move. We still have to eat, and the kids still want to play!

I hope our yard sale goes well this weekend! It’s always good to have some extra spending money! 🙂 I will try to take some yard sale pics, and post them later!

Also this week I am going to be packing our bags for London! I am super duper excited!!! All the royal wedding coverage this last week has made me even more excited!! Andrew and I compiled a list of everything we want to do and see while in London:

Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Jewel Tower, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Windsor Castle, Big Ben, Foundry Church, Westminster Cathedral, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, Take the Thames River Boat Tour, Kew Gardens, London Zoo, Baker Street, Cutty Sark, Platform of 9 3/4, Handel and Hendrix London, The Queens Gallery, The Guards Museum, Imperial War Museum, National Maritime Museum, Royal Airforce Museum, British History Museum, London Beatles Store

Plus we are going to two concerts! YAY!! We are going to hear Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition arranged by Ravel, and we are going to a music of Star Trek concert! 🙂 We are geeks! 🙂

This list does not include all the places we want to eat! We haven’t really sat down and made that list. However, Andrew insists on having a full English breakfast at least once while we are there, and I can’t wait to find all the pastry shops! 🙂

David and Emma are going to be spending the week with Papa and Nana! I will miss my babies!!!! I know they will have a blast, and I will try to not worry too much. (I should probably be more worried about my mom and dad! 😉 ) We will be able to messenger and see them, so that will help.

David is having his last week at school. Yesterday they had water day! His teacher sent me this picture. He had a blast!

We are having a moving away party for David tomorrow at school. I am taking a cake, and I made these little treat bags for all the kids.

They are favor bags, filled with Reese’s pieces candy! The little tags have the “I’ll miss you to pieces!” on one side and our new address on the other. It’s a cute idea I found on pinterest!
