Anyone who knows me very well, knows that I LOVE Lucy!! I have all the episodes on DVD and have watched them many times. One of my favorite episodes is the Lucy Goes to Hospital episode. It is even more funny since I’ve experienced this episode almost personally for the third time. Lately the picture above is exactly what I feel like! Yes, I look like I could pop at any time, and while I’m perfectly fine and feeling good, I feel that everyone else is staring at me exactly the way Ricky, Fred and Ethel are staring at Lucy in the picture above! 🙂 Luckily, Andrew isn’t quite as bad as Ricky when it comes to holding himself together during labor and delivery! 🙂
David was invited to a friends birthday party, and they made gingerbread houses and had gingerbread cupcakes at the party! If Samuel is born before Christmas, I’m going to have to remember this idea for one of his birthday parties! David was proud of his first gingerbread house! He and Emma loved their gingerbread cupcakes too! (Thank you Jenny for sending cupcakes home!)
Emma and I made cinnamon rolls yesterday! I wanted to make some to put in the freezer to have for Christmas morning. I also plan on making another batch because cinnamon rolls make great gifts too! Emma had a blast helping out! She loved throwing the flour onto the counter top, and then sprinkling the sugar onto the dough! Her sprinkling was more like big piles that I then had to even out, but who cares! 🙂 It all taste good in the end! 🙂 As you can see there was no shortage of flour everywhere either! 🙂 The cinnamon rolls turned out beautifully, and we love them! You can find the recipe for cinnamon rolls here!
I have been attending a community Bible study, and they have a children’s program too while the adults are doing their study. Today, the children presented their Christmas pageant. Emma was so cute! She was having one of her “I want mommy” days, and as soon as she spotted me had to come sit on my lap. She was still a sweet little lamb! 🙂
