Welcome to the Treble Mama online piano studio! I am currently accepting students who have the capability of taking lessons during the morning hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I have experience teaching adult students who have personal musical goals, preschoolers ages 4/5, and students K-12.

I have a Master of Piano Performance and Pedagogy degree, and I have several years of teaching and playing experience. Playing piano is my passion and I love sharing that passion with my students. I strive to give students the tools they will need to be successful musicians. Students will receive instruction in note reading, sight-reading, music theory, and performance. I look forward to our musical journey together!

Essential Equipment required for Online Piano Lessons

• Computer with a high speed internet connection, or an iPad or tablet.
• Access to either ZOOM, Google Meet, or WhatsApp
• Acoustic piano or Digital piano with 88 touch-sensitive keys and a pedal.

Setting up for Lessons

• Make sure devices are fully charged or plugged in.
• The piano should be in a room that is quiet, with no distractions. The lighting also needs to be sufficient.
• Position device correctly. The screen view should be at eye level on a sturdy surface or tripod to the side of the student. This will allow me the view of the student, their hands, and the keyboard.
• Good Audio. Options to help enhance the audio, therefore the quality of the lessons, is to have a good microphone, and an external speaker.

Free Introductory Lesson

• A parent or guardian must be present during lessons for ages 4-6, and nearby for students 7+.
• During the first lesson we will become acquainted (which means there will be some chit chat.😊)
• We will discuss studio policy in regards to lesson payment and missed/makeup lessons, and practice expectations.
• Piano books and materials will be decided on within the first week, and they can be ordered through Amazon.
